This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our mobile application and this website.

Information We Collect

Personal information: email address (for account creation and authentication via Sign in with Apple or Google); username/display name; profile picture (optional); user preferences and settings; push notification token (if you enable notifications); purchase and subscription status (processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat).

Poker data: hand histories you record; session data (buy-ins, cash-outs, locations, dates); game preferences (blinds, game types, currencies); comments and interactions on hands; statistical data derived from your poker sessions.

Technical information: device information and identifiers; app and website usage analytics; error logs and crash reports; network connection information.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the app; store and analyze your poker data; enable social features (sharing hands, comments); improve app performance and user experience; send important updates about your account; provide customer support; ensure security and prevent fraud; and understand how people use this marketing website.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is securely stored using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. We use industry-standard encryption for data transmission. Access to your data is restricted and monitored. We implement regular security updates and monitoring. Your poker hands and personal data are protected by row-level security policies.

Advertising

Free users may see banner and interstitial ads from Google AdMob. Ad networks may collect device identifiers and coarse usage data to deliver and measure ads. Subscribing to Poker Hand History Pro removes ads. We do not use App Tracking Transparency to track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Analytics

We use Mixpanel to understand product and website usage (for example, when a session is saved in the app, or when someone views this site and taps a store button). Analytics events do not include buy-in, cash-out, profit, or location.

Subscriptions and Payments

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements (such as ad removal, extra hand limits, and Pro features). We receive subscription status, not your full payment card details.

AI Features

Optional import tools may send hand histories or session text you provide to an AI provider so we can parse them into the app. Do not include information you do not want processed this way. We use this only to complete the import you requested.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances: with other users when you choose to share hands publicly; with service providers who help us operate the app and website (Supabase, Google Sign-In, Apple, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Mixpanel, and AI import providers); when required by law or to protect our rights; in connection with a business transfer or merger (with notice to users).

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to access your personal data; correct inaccurate information; delete your account and associated data; export your poker data; control privacy settings for hand sharing; and opt out of non-essential communications.

Data Retention

We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and poker data, except where we are legally required to retain certain information.

Children’s Privacy

Poker Hand History is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to have it removed.

International Users

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app and on this website and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
